Patio Options
Natural stone paving from old York stone flagstones to Indian sandstone in a variety of colours. There's no paving finer than natural stone, it's been used for thousands of years and will outlast all of us! Every unit is unique as it's a natural product with texture and colour determined by millennia of geological processes rather than modern chemical dyes and is incredibly strong, hardwearing and looks beautiful.
A variety of man made paving is available from more traditional paving to modern contemporary ranges. Not only is adecorative paving long lasting but it is tidy and very easy to maintain. Preparation is the key
It is the materials used for each layer, and the way each layer is prepared and constructed that gives strength and stability to any patio.
All of our patios are laid on geo-textile membrane, a layer of sub-base that is made up of compacted type 1 scalpings and materials laid on a sand and cement mix. The depths of the base vary according to the soil type that it is laid upon, however in all cases the minimum depth will be no less than 100 mm.
