Founder Jim Byiers has spent much of his working life up to his ankles on building sites. And most of the rest of his life up to his ankles in the garden.
Along the way he’s learned more about gardens than you can shake a potting stick at.
It was only a matter of time before Jim started his own landscape gardening business, forming Gardens Galore in 1997.
In the beginning it was Jim Byiers and Son, son being Jamie, fresh from horticultural college.
Since then they’ve come from two men in an old family estate car to driving a fully-fledged company.
Scott Byiers joined the family firm in 2003, adding value with his experience in the joinery trade.
Jen Byiers joined in 2004 bringing management and admin skills.
Today Gardens Galore is 14 strong and growing. And while not everyone bears the family name, everyone is very much part of the family.
