Fife Project - Dalgety Bay

We were asked to re-design the rear of our clients' property in Dalgety Bay, outside Edinburgh, by creating an expansive deck area.

The existing property had a steeply sloping garden and small patio bordered by thick overgrowth which needed to be cleared before we could begin work.

In consultation with our clients, we chose softwood decking to complement the existing property and constructed the deck to span the length of the house.

The deck was supported against the drop-off of the garden by a secure retaining wall. We added an attractive square spindle balustrade for safety on the platform itself.

The deck enhanced the property significantly, providing a thrilling, spacious spot from which to admire the Forth River - and a relaxing place to eat, drink and entertain friends and family.
