Full Design and Build Project - Edinburgh
The customer’s brief was to create a low maintenance town garden along with the introduction of extra car parking, normally on the “wish list” of many in the City of Edinburgh.
A small softwood deck was formed at the front of the patio doors providing somewhere to sit or entertain. A sandstone patio area was created which included a circular water feature providing a calming touch to the garden and a pleasing focal point. Trellis panels were erected to accommodate climbing plants, which when planted, would soften and bring colour into the garden space.
The rear of the garage was removed to create a parking area, a small wall was constructed using buff sandstone to define the parking space from the remainder of the garden.
Subtle lighting was included in the design creating a mellow feel and when day light faded the water feature softly illuminated.
