With so many things to see and do at Gardening Scotland, there is something for everyone to enjoy. We will definitely be visiting the “Big Back Garden” which is always a firm favourite, it’s a part family fun area and part eco area, bringing together all the elements of what many of us want in today's garden from growing your own, an area for the kids and most importantly, somewhere to sit and relax.
Gardening and Cooking
In the Cookery and Workshop Theatre there are lots of informative workshops telling you everything you need to know about growing your own veg along with cookery demonstrations on turning your hand picked fresh garden produce into foodie delights.
There will be the ever popular plant village where you can wander around and see all the beautiful plants and flowers on offer to buy and take home. Don't worry about carting your plant purchases around either as the Plant Creche will lovingly store these until you are ready to leave.
The Scottish Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (SAFAS) will demonstrate their flower arranging skills in around 20 displays and this year's theme is "A night at the movies" featuring "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", "Pirates of the Caribbean", "Goldfinger" and more.
Not forgetting all the usual experts offering advice on all aspects of gardening and a range of suppliers offering a variet of products for the garden and home.
Hopefully we’ll see you on the day, if not watch this space for our event updates. Mind and buy your tickets early to save yourself a few pennies http://www.gardeningscotland.com/tickets/
